Early Year's Pupil Premium
Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.
In Summer term 2022 we have 19 children who receive Early Years Pupil Premium. This term we will provide focused enhancement activities which promote the love of reading and close the word gap to support children's understanding.
We will be using funding to train staff in closing the word gap and in providing teacher led support for EYPP children in all areas of the curriculum. We will also be using Forest School to enhance the curriculum for all children and provide a holistic approach to outdoor learning.

Assessment data indicates that children with EYPP funding make rapid and sustained progress in all areas from their starting points. Using carefully planned activities the children are closing the attainment gap with their peers and are challenge to achieve at a very high standard. Children who also have special educational needs typically make smaller steps of progress and are still below their peers in all areas due to their complex needs. However in comparison to their starting points they are still making good progress.
