Governance

Welcome to our Governors’ section.

Please find below details of how our Governing body is structured, including the names, role and terms of appointment for each Governor. We keep a record of attendance at meetings which is in a linked working document below. Governors may be part of either or both committees  (Resources or Curriculum). Meetings are held after school in the Nursery Classroom or via Teams online video calling as appropriate.

Governors all receive training when they join on both the role of a governor and safeguarding. Governors also have access to ongoing training both through governor hub and in school.

As a School Governing Body we recognise the importance of well-being in our school. We want the best for the children at Woodfield Nursery School and know that if our staff are well and feel supported as this will lead to better quality education for your child.
