I would like to welcome you to Woodfield Nursery School website and hope that you will find it useful. We are a maintained Nursery School and cater for children aged 2 to 4 years old. We have qualified teachers and staff who have specialised in early years education. We are passionate about Early Years and work closely with your family to provide the best education and care for your child. 

We are a happy school and I am very proud to be the Headteacher here. We will provide your child with a creative and exciting play-based curriculum which  follows the Statutory Framework For Early Years. We always strive to follow your child's interest and encourage them to 'have a go' and keep trying to achieve what they have set out to do. We have a lovely outdoor space and spend as much time outside as possible. The children learn about the world around them and how to care for the environment and themselves. Children learn best when fully immersed in their play by experimenting, exploration and challenge. We provide high quality learning experiences through adult interactions and independent play and your child will be part of a small group with a Keyworker who will plan for your child's individual needs.

We want your children to feel happy, safe and secure and make lots of new friends. We would love to hear from you please come  talk to us about your child - we will always listen and support you as best we can.
